킹스 컬리지에서 제공하는 석사예비과정은 성격에 따라 크게 두 개의 과정으로 구분된다.
일반 석사예비과정과 Graduate Diploma 과정으로 나뉘게 되는데 가장 큰 차이점은 기간, 그리고 King’s College London의 석사로 바로 입문할 수 있느냐 없느냐의 차이다.
두 과정 모두 기본적으로는 본격적인 석사과정 이전에 영국식 대학원 교육 방식에 익숙해지고 아카데믹 영어 실력을 키우는 데 도움을 주는 예비과정이라는 공통점이 있으나 Graduate Diploma 코스는 세분화된 전공 세 영역에 대한 예비과정을 제공함으로써 성공적으로 이수하게 되면 이후 동 대학 석사과정으로의 조건부 입학이 보장된다. |

10주가 한 텀으로 계산되며, 각 텀 마다 다음 리스트 중 3과목을 고를 수 있다. 학생들이 과목을 직접 선택할 수 있지만 학교마다 Advisor가 있어서 학생의 영어성적 혹은 프리테스트 결과에 따라 학생에게 적합한 과목을 추천해 준다. |
